• We sure had fun last Tuesday when The Fabulous DeVille’s had a night of stars with Harry Robinson (former lead vocalist with Northern California's Slick Brothers Band) He sat in twice with a heartfelt version of "Since I Fell For You" and came back later with a strong version of The Doobie Brother's "Long Train Running". We then had our old friend Gary Edwards sit in singing "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison then later sang “Domino”. Gary was with Ernie and Drew Sallee for many years in The Catfish Hunter Band before Drew and Ernie started playing with The DeVille’s back in 2002.
  We also had the pleasure of playing with Tim White (formerly with Ike & Tina Turner). He played tenor sax, taking many solos and as part of the horn section all night along with the great Clark Calvert. With all of that going on it was cool enough but when we were joined on vocals by Kallie Pile and Carri Werve two dynamite ladies both of which are wonderful singers but with different styles. Kallie sang “Mustang Sally”, “Chain of Fools” and “Blue Bayou”, Carri sang “Desperado” and an original song called “Tuesday Night at Kim's” which is all about Kim's Country Kitchen. Last but not least we had David Lightfoot on harp on “She don’t love me she loves my automobile”. Ron Barringer and Scott Ruskauff shared the Bass Guitar duties for the DeVilles and a great deal of fun was had by all.
